Our program focuses on mediums such as painting, ceramics, clay, and specialized modern mediums. Additionally, We prioritize positive mental health habits and teach core values such as education, creativity, kindness, respect, and resourcefulness.
At The Doodle Academy, we believe that by fostering creativity and community, your child will learn valuable skills and develop essential character traits that will benefit them throughout their life. Our camp is geared towards children ages 6 and above, and the cost is $165, which includes all supplies, daily snacks, a camp t-shirt, and a special treat on Friday. Adult Classes
Adult Clay Night

Every 4th Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. come join us for a night of Clay at The Pottery Place 109 N. 1st in Ponca City,OK. Each attendee will get a two hour clay experience. You choose if that time is spent on the wheel or hand-building. We will provide all the teaching and supplies; simply buy a ticket and get ready for a fun night out.
Adults are encouraged to bring a friend and get ready for a night of fun, wet clay, and a teacher led experience. Seats are limited so please purchase your ticket now to reserve your spot.
Pottery Wheel for Adults March 2023

Saturday 10:00-12:00 Adults 15+ can take this fun pottery on the wheel class. We will spend time learning the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel (more advanced projects will be encouraged based on prior learning). Each student will make between 4-6 wheel-thrown pieces during this session. This session will contain 4 classes and the sessions are taught independent of each other so students can take one or more sessions each semester. Classes are limited to 8 students.
*Students need to attend all 4 classes of their session as make-up classes will not be provided.* (for multiple adults add 2 to your cart).

Adult Painting Night

Every 1st Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. come join us for a night of creating at The Doodle Academy in Ponca City,OK. Each attendee will get a two hour painting experience. Family Clay Time

Every 4th Saturday from 11:00-12:00 a.m. come join us for an hour of creating at The Pottery Place located at 109 N. 1st in Ponca City, OK. Each attendee will participate in an hour clay experience. Each month we will have a Mystery project you can participate in or you can customize your own ball of clay with our teachers assistance. Simply buy a ticket and get ready for a fun family clay class.
Families are encouraged to bring newborns and up to experience a fun family clay class. Every one participating in the painting experience will need a ticket (spectators do not need a ticket).

Every Wednesday at 3:30 Art lessons are available for Clay and Glass Fusing. Pick-up is at 5:00. 3D Art Lessons are $35 and include all supplies and instructor for the 1 1/2 hour class. Clay students will be taught in the Pottery Place studio and Glass Fusing will be taught in The Doodle Academy studio. Ages 8+ are encouraged to attend and No Sign-Ups are required. Parents MUST check in students and pay upon arrival. (Simply join The Doodle Club for discounts on all classes). |
Painting and Drawing Thursdays
Every Thursday at 3:30 Art lessons are available for Painting and Drawing. Pick-up is at 5:00. Art Lessons are $25 and include all supplies and instructor for the 1 1/2 hour class. FAQ's
Can my 5 year old participate in a class? Yes, we require all kids under the required age to have a parent sit and help them. You must receive permission before enrolling a 5 year old. Why is the cost so much? The cost of each class includes at least 4 lessons. What if we miss a class? Due to limited class seating we will not be providing make up classes. Please arrive promptly as classes begin right on time. |
